Deep amber/brown in color. Minimal head. Sweet brown bread nose with some caramel sugar. The taste is quite sweet with a light bitter finish. Slightly watery. The mouthfeelís light and easy. This is a pretty simple, tame bitter.

Cask in the North Star, NW3. Dark brown coloured bitter, not much of a head. Feels like an old school English bitter, more at the malty and fruity end. Not very strong flavoured but disappeared rather quickly so I guess very sessionable.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Mid brown; sweet malt and hint of fruit; thin, watery; Iíve had so many duff pints of this in the single-handpull bars and pubs of Dorset and Hampshire that it was a surprise to find this in decent condition (@ The Bricklayers Arms, Poole) - nevertheless, it was still a very unexciting beer that is weak in every respect.
