Cask at The Mulberry Leaves, Leek (Marstons) A clear golden colour with a creamy white head. Aroma of lemon sherbet, some caramel, a little honey, grass and floral hops. Taste of light caramel, pale malt, lemon, some orange, grass and floral hops. Light bodied and a smooth texture. A light floral bitterness in the finish. A solid summer ale, well balanced.

Gorgeous aroma. Nice head. Smooth and quite creamy but very bitter. Looks a bit weird when it pours. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Light to medium gold, wispy white head. Pleasant lemony aroma with a bit of candyfloss. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t live up to the promise in the scent of the beer: slight bitterness leads to an unpleasant buttery acidic note in the finish and aftertaste. The beer grows on me but it isn’t an impressive product.

Fairly plain hazy gold pour. Quite light, some fruit and citrus, but nothing making a statement... Minimal hop kick. Fairly drinkable and inoffensive, but nothing going on here.
