Cask at Nicholsons Pub London august 2011. Pale amber. Hoppy aroma and flavor. A boring beer.

Cask at the Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Light to medium gold, wispy white head. Pleasant lemony aroma with a bit of candyfloss. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t live up to the promise in the scent of the beer: slight bitterness leads to an unpleasant buttery acidic note in the finish and aftertaste. The beer grows on me but it isn’t an impressive product.

Cask @ The Railway, Hebden Bridge. Golden blonde with a creamy head. Has a fairly malty character with some hop. A steady session ale with some berry sweetness in its aroma.

Fra cask på Ye Olde Salutation Inn, Nottingham 26 Jan 14. Gylden. Lavt filmskum som etterlater nivåmerker på glasset. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken litt vassen. Antydning til grapefrukt. Blir litt tørr etter hvert.

BlackHaddock (3492) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2014
Hand-pulled half-pint in The Wheatsheaf, Chetwyn Aston on 11th Jan 2014. Lighter in colour and depth than it’s bottled brother (the bottles 5% ABV), this is easy drinking but lacking in flavour. It’s OK but I do prefer the bottled version.

Better than the bottle version I had a few days ago, taste is fruity with a hint of citrus, not bad

Looks ok. Pale ale with good white head. Goes downhill from there. Watery, bland, finishes dull.

Hand pulled at the Boldmere Oak, one of my favourite summer session ales light golden pint, slight floral aroma, a tough of fizziness, very drinkable!
