This American inspired English Ale has a sharp aroma and taste on the tongue. It pours with a perfect amber colour and a nice fine head. The flavour lingers but isn’t defining.

Golden colour with nice tight head. Aroma of sweet malt and slight fruit. Taste is quite rich yet easy drinking sweet/bitter balance of malt and hop flavours. Verging on sweeter side of things.

mighty_meadow (146) - Kilwinning, SCOTLAND - JAN 12, 2014
500ml bottle from Morrison’s. Pours dark, burnt orange in colour. Smells faintly of well over ripe bananas. Too fizzy and watery to enjoy. Then, the longer it has been poured and the temperature rises a bit, this transforms into quite an enjoyable beer. Will need to try another bottle at a slightly higher temperature and rate again.

A mid to dark orange brown beer with a weak white head. A balanced aroma of caramel malt and mild citrus fruit hop. Dry mouthfeel. A smooth bitter flavour, citrusy hops are balanced by a dry biscuity malt taste. The finish is balanced with a tad more bitter hop.
