Amber colour with.a thick creamy quick dissapearing white head. Toffee, honey, plums and biscut smell. Medium body an light lacing. Creamy sweet caramel malt, fruit (peaches) and nut with a light hop taste. Sweet malt start and a light bittersweet fruit finish. Delicious. Excellent drink.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours light copper with a foamy white head. Aromas of mild roast malt and some floral. The flavor is malty, but it is very nicely bitter. Finishes bitter and fruity.

50 cl bottle, not bottle-conditioned. Nice hoppy-malty English bitter nose, dark copper coloured with a medum-fine white head, drying and hoppy palate, slight metallic tang, hints of pepper, dry grass and cardboard. Dry, slightly acrid-bitter and vegetal finish.

Pale bronze, clear, one finger head, great retention + lacing. Aroma maris otter, vanila, some hop content. Tasted roasted malt, cranberry, wheaty finish. Thick body, well carbonated, coarse edge. Overall pasable but forgetable ESB.

Amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is of spicy and minerally hops. A bit of light herbal character and a touch of light fruit. A bit of soft peppery character. Simple and a little bit of light toast. Decent stuff.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly yeasty, bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, accompanied by herbal and subtle fruity hops. Mildly bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Rather dry cara-malt-character with more fruity accents on the palate, especially towards the bitter-weet and mildly caramely finish. Easy-going. 20.XI.12

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK, from Dad. Medium copper colour, aroma of tin and caramel. Good level of carbonation, sweet toffee then immediately a bitter burnt brown sugar finish.
