Cask (Inn on the Furlong, Ringwood) - Copper in colour. Dried fruit, caramel and fruitcake in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with raisins, sultanas, marzipan and earthy hops.

Golden ale with a thick creamy head. It has a light and pleasant malt based character and is smooth.

Appearance: Nutty brown color with a thin off white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malty, light hoppy and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: A bit sweet malty, mild hoppy and fruity.
Overall impression: Nice session ale.

Cask at JDW – Charlie Hall; Hazy amber pour with off white head, floral aroma, fruity malt taste quite pleasant.

Cask at the Three Crowns, Kidderminster. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is bready Christmas cake malt. Taste is bready, twiggy and yeasty.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham - 03/09/12.
Clear copper colour with a thin off-white head which soon clears.
Sweet malt, caramel and a little buterscotch on the nose.
Taste follows with toffee, dried fruit and again a buttery/diacetyl flavour.
Medium bodied with a lingering bitter finish where toffee is prominent.

Cask@beechtree, Blackheath. Smell of malt, large creamy head. The beer feels very smooth and creamy on the palate. Excellent taste of malt and caramel with just the right amount of bitterness. One of my favourites.

Cask at Wetherspoon, Birmingham Airport public area
Hazy copper color, with small creamy head. The aroma is lightly fruity, but that could be the result of unwanted fermentation. The mouthfeel is soft, with light malt flavor, and again a note of unfresh (traces of vinegar and fruits); correct bitterness.
Not a bad drink, but probably not properly kept.

Cask. Rich rusty gold colour with a nice off-white head. Malts on the nose with some light hoppiness. Some caramel. In the mouth, more malts - caramel develops, wheats, some lemon zest, biscuits, butterscotch. Very nice. Very quaffable.

Cask. Amber pour with a small white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and honey. Flavor of caramel, malt and a bitter finish.
