Orange toffee color. Small off-white head. Little lacing. Nice mixture of hops and malt. Orange marmalade. Taste is a creamy caramel and malt. Some dark fruits. Some sweetness but balanced well with a slight bitterness. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wife bought from Stonemanor. Amber-brown, average head, malt-forward aroma, but you can tell this will be a light-flavored ale while pouring it. Overall pretty balanced but not much going on. Session pub Brit beer, but without the smoothness.

Aroma is sweet with malts. Pours amber with a small white head. Taste is sweet with malts, fruit and some grapes. Palate is thin and very drinkable. Overall an okay beer which is both tasteful and drinkable.

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel biscuit and copper penny. Flavour of metal and earthy hops. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Dull and metallic.

Very nice malty beer great on the pallet. Dark amber colour not much of a head, slight hint of chocolate in the taste. Very enjoyable. Taken from the bottle.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Deep copper colour, quite high carbonation, good white head. Sweet malty beer, caramel and warm brown bread, fruity, but then also some nice hoppy flavours, marmelade of oranges, just enough bitterness. Drinks very nicely. A malty beer, well done. I find these darker stronger beers by far the best of Ringwood’s efforts.

Belle robe cuivrée, limpide, grosse carbo, collet moyen persistant, belle dentelle. Aromes faible caramel et champ de fleur, pointe de fruits sucrés ou miel. Relativement mince, bon equilibre sucre/amertume, final sur l’amertume prolongée mais pas trop seche
