Draught,hand pulled at The Wellington,Birmingham.Dark amber pour with a smallish head.Aroma of light malt and caramel.Caramel,malt and some fruit in the taste with a dry bitter finish.Easy enough to drink.

cask@Station Hotel, SE London - Brown pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma/taste is malt forward, caramel malt, nutty dark fruit on the palate with a bitter finish. Not bad.

Cask@moonunderwater, wolverhampton. Looks good, dark amber large creamy head. Taste isn’t good though. Thick malt and sour fruits. Not very good.

Aroma is quite light and malty with some caramel. lavour has strawberries, some caramel, resiny hops and toffee. A bit sour finish with a berry juice feeling. Too much berries here.

Unlikeable Soapy aroma, and a dirty taste, but not completely in a negative sense, although the noticeably strong texture is overbearing.

Thick mouthfeel; sweet malt and chewy baked fruits to taste; a sugary sweet aftertaste; a bit sickly on its own, would probably be transformed alongside a sticky toffee pudding or suchlike.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Twickenham. Deep red-brown with a tight clingy off-white head. Malt plus a little marmalade and red fruit on the nose. Full bodied with slightly tart malt, touches of chocolate and smoke, plus a hint of oak and whisky in the finish.

On cask at the Alexander Graham Bell for the Wetherspoons beer festival. Pours a dark golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of apple seed, yeast, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with lingering caramel and a dry finish. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. Nice.
