pours a light amber with an average but quickly disappearing head. This beer is lightly sweet wit a cider like taste and a bitter after taste.

Patrickctenchi (3093) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Pours hazy, brown-amber with an average, off-white head. Scent is light...caramel and malt. Taste is a little peppery-caramel....a bit tea-like. Just sort of fizzles out...too watery, too weak. I see the intent, it just falls a little short.

Bronzan (121) - Windsor, California, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Not a real strong aroma... almost has a ’macro-brew’ scent to it plus a bit of malt and caramel. In the current light, it has almost a burnt orange hue to it. Has a real malty taste. Not much flavor...no hop character to speak to. Pretty forgettable.

bottle at festibiere quebec, qc. clear amber with a small white head, little retention, no lacing. nose is plain caramel with light spicyness. some nuttiness, pepper. average carbonation, light body - thin, short herbal-citrusy finish. meh.

I bought one bottle of this at a local grocery store. It’s not a bad beer, but i found it to be a bit underwhelming. Flavor was a bit thin, and while it looked nice in the glass, with plenty of foam sticking to the sides as I drank it, it wasn’t a very exciting beer all in all. Not bad, but not great either.

Blairgus (2416) - California, USA - MAY 24, 2012
21 may 2012, tap. Light brown, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is dark toast and bitter grassy hops. Thin and fizzy body. Kind of skunky grassy hops and the Budweiser of brown ales. Not really appealing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Travlr (9999) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 11, 2012
This bottle brought back memories, since the cask version was one of the first real ales I ever tried, at the Waggon and Horses in Newmarket. The U.S. version is a clear deep golden color, small white head and solid lacing. Aroma is slightly sour citrus, straw, white bread. Taste is slightly more bitter and peppery than its British forebear, with a dry and lager-like finish.
