3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Old Thumper has nice hoppy nose. The flavor is on the hop side of balanced but there's plenty of malt in there as well.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and caramel. A medium bodied ale, Malts are mild, slightly sweet and fruity. Apples and vanilla. Hops are very dry and somewhat floral. There is a very distinct orange flavor to this beer. Slightly bittering, and there is a strange aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and a touch astringent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber; aroma shows ringwood yeast, herbal hop, caramel. Straightforward English ale - a step up from Bass and Double Diamond but along the same lines.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful to look at, copper color. Very British while made in the U.S. Similar to Old Speckled Hen or New Castle with a bit more bitterness and spice.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear copper in color with a medium head. Aroma is putrid, but better than their Export. Flavors are of carmel and toffee with barely a hint of hops. Finish is earthy and fairly clean. Unimpressive.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
very hoppy towards the end of the glass.
nice head that faded very quickly to an awesome display of lacing.
the aroma had a hint of pears? (unless my nose is falling apart on me)
this was not the best beer out there, but i will try it again to see if i need to re-rate it.
