UPDATED: MAY 3, 2003 Big, lofty and lasting head above a clear amber. Mouthfeel was soft, light, maybe even a bit watery with a light carbonation. Malts had notes of caramel and toffee, though subdued. Lingering bitterness has a flowery aroma. Only slightly cloying.

Light tan head, dark orange body. Mild fruity and malty aroma with peach and orange tones. Peachy flavor, rather thin with a harsh end.

One bottle. Unpleasent bitterness at the start. Some hops, malts and fruits detected with a decent body for the ale.

Pours bronze with a light brownish head. Smells of musty butterscotch with some richness that is reminescent of cream cheese - as odd as that may sound. Creamy off-putting butterscotch on the taste. Medium / full bodied. Sour bitter hops on the finish. Taste seems old and dusty. Lingering metallic sourness stays around after the finish. Best to avoid this one.

Pours a clear dark amber color with a thick one finger head that lingers for quite awhile. The aroma is on the bready side. A slight acidic taste with a thick mouth feel. Has a touch of sweetness and does finish on the dry side with a hint of bitterness..

Karamell och svagt av lime i aromen, det samma i smaken. Inte särskilt bitter alls, något vattnig.

"fairly standard entry into the esb catergory. sale at scolari’s for a $1 single. had with dinner. grainy malts and a touch of bittering hops, that’s about it.

Decent bitter, was differant for suer though. Had too much caramel for an honest ESB up front. Light hop aftertaste, but caramel killed this beer, and made is almost seem like a brown.

Pours golden copper with a thin white head. Aromas are a little boring: Perhaps me having my head stuck in a gallon of paint for the last 4 hrs is affecting my senses, but I can’t smell anything other then malt...Nutty and grass flavours, light to medium body, some citrus in the finish.
