UPDATED: MAY 3, 2003 Big, lofty and lasting head above a clear amber. Mouthfeel was soft, light, maybe even a bit watery with a light carbonation. Malts had notes of caramel and toffee, though subdued. Lingering bitterness has a flowery aroma. Only slightly cloying.

Pours bronze with a light brownish head. Smells of musty butterscotch with some richness that is reminescent of cream cheese - as odd as that may sound. Creamy off-putting butterscotch on the taste. Medium / full bodied. Sour bitter hops on the finish. Taste seems old and dusty. Lingering metallic sourness stays around after the finish. Best to avoid this one.

A lite amber beer with a hint of yeast and a musty bitter taste. The head was moderate and lasted a while. Decent lacing on the glass.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Bittersweet nose with some fruit and caramel... maybe even honey. Medium body. Flavor is very well balanced with caramel and some nutty malt, but a metallic finish really throws it off. Not awful but really unimpressive.

Pours a clear dark amber color with a thick one finger head that lingers for quite awhile. The aroma is on the bready side. A slight acidic taste with a thick mouth feel. Has a touch of sweetness and does finish on the dry side with a hint of bitterness..

Karamell och svagt av lime i aromen, det samma i smaken. Inte särskilt bitter alls, något vattnig.
