Decent bitter, was differant for suer though. Had too much caramel for an honest ESB up front. Light hop aftertaste, but caramel killed this beer, and made is almost seem like a brown.

Pours golden copper with a thin white head. Aromas are a little boring: Perhaps me having my head stuck in a gallon of paint for the last 4 hrs is affecting my senses, but I can’t smell anything other then malt...Nutty and grass flavours, light to medium body, some citrus in the finish.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2006 Mawkish. Too malty with an odd mineral acidity. Butterscotch or some sort of sweetness and some soft of leaf. This style always seems bland and ashy. Very surprised by how high this group rating is.

Diacetyl. Yep, diacetyl. In fact, diacetyl may have made this beer better than it would have been, but still buttery.

Feb. 2007 - Beer poured a pale brown, decent head and lacing. Strong aroma of buttery diacetyl. I don’t mind a little of it, but the flavor was sickly and buttery. If this were a true perishable good, I’d be afraid to consume it. Some hop bitterness at the end as well.

12oz Bottle poured at RIFT English Pale Ale tasting. Buttery and butterscotch nose. Flavor has a shallow bitterness throughout it. The grains are coarse. Not desirable really. I don’t like the yeast, I don’t like the brewery, I don’t like this beer.

A below average bitter. Aroma was of malts, flavor/mouthfeel was very watered down malts, with a little alcohol bitterness. Wouldn’t buy again.
