Cask. Thick head on a dark amber body. Clean aroma. Mild though. Just a splash of malt and brassy hop. Very clean and soft. Delicate flavors are well-developed. Sweet cereal grains plus biscuity malts are balanced by mildly floral hops.

Golden-amber. Relatively thick head. Chewy - almost candyish caramel character with some earthy notes. Fruity, light caramel and some berry, currant. Good balance.

The Sickies, Burbage. Got briefly dragged onto the Holyoaks set by the missus of a Saturday evening. Amber brown with a cream slick. OK muted English hop aroma; earth, ferns, forest floor. Caramel and biscuit mush- very sweet after a slew of punchy GAs. Mushroom, toffee, wood. Dank and sickly. Drinkable- tidily encapsulates everything that’s dull, cynical and uninspired about English brewing in one handy, half pint-size measure.
