[Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus] A deep red beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet with light berry notes, while the flavor is very sweet with notes of berries and nuts, leading to a slight burnt wood end. I wouldn’t categorize this as a porter - it is not dark nor roasted enough, but it’s still an OK beer.

Ringwood xxxx porter
Cask at The Wharf. It pours a black body and a small, coarse, dark beige head. The aroma is quite buttery, with roasted malts and lots of raisins. The flavor is quite acidic, with raisins, blackcurrant and roasted malts. Medium to thin on the palate, smooth. Roasted finish with lots of raisins. Probably not in good nick this one. Not bad but it feels a bit old. 110320
