1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
This was a horrifyingly bad beer. Poured a clear deepish gold, slight head faded quickly to almost nothing. Aroma was sickly sweet honey and rough alcohol. Oh no, to accurately describe the flavor I will need to sip this again. Adjunct, sickly sweet, rough alcohol horror show. Horrifyingly bad train wreck in my mouth.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled beer. No appreciable head after pouring into glass. Slightly cloudy orange body. Flavors of apricot and sour orange. Like no Pils I’ve had before. Truthfully, got it for the label.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lobster Lovers Beer has a thick, foamy, yellowish-white head, lots of thick lacing, an enormous amount of bubbles, and a hazy, orange-gold appearance. The aroma is very strong and bracing- one gets super-sweet, alcohilic barley malt and candi sugar. Taste is of sickly-sweet barley malt, melted hard candy, alcohol, barley malt, and bread. Mouthfeel is heavy, and Lobster Lovers Beer finishes sweet, harsh, and minimally drinkable. But, even with all the harshness and the jarring experience, it is a good one, and I score it excellent. 2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Deep Yellow, Medium Bubbly Head, Leaves Spotty Lacing. Sweet malt aroma. Taste about same, sweet, malt, corn, buzzy. Kinda hard to drink, not really enjoyable, unless you are trying to become a "buzz lightyear". Since I do not care about sea food or lobster, this must be a given, that i did not really care about this beer. It is stranger, where I’ve Had another brew with even higher ABV and left me wishing for more, where this one, one was enough. Might be OK for malt liquor, but this is the style that i Do not really care for. Pass it.

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
This is probably the worst beer I’ve ever had. Other than okay aroma and pleasant color, there are no redeeming qualities. Taste is similar to fermented grass treated with some type of chemical. Nasty.

I used half of this beer in a cooking recipe and saved the other half to drink. I wasn’t particularly disappointed I could’nt have the whole body. A fairly typical baltic lager, maybe a bit smoother with a more prominent grassy hop edge to it.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle given by a friend. Reminds me of a cask beer like Innis and Gunn. Copper pour with a white head and lots of pearly layers of lace. Smells like carmalized malts. Tastes with a bit of bitter bite. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
.5L bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small reddish head. Aroma is malty with some chemical/middle-shelf vodka going on. Taste is... acceptable. Head and shoulders above American malt liquors, but nothing to write home about. More than a little chemical taste and zero hops whatsoever, but malty enough... this is not an overly offensive beer for being a dirt-cheap borderline-malt liquor. I won’t be trying it again, but I am not upset that I spent money on this.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500. Pours a clear pale amber with tons of nucleation columns and a pillowy, pretty white head. Awful corny white sugar buttery nose. Creamy slick medium body. Caramel, butterscotch, corn, and fusel alcohol on the mid palate. Chemically buttery finish.

Lobster lovers in Lithuania are especially lucky to have not just one but three beers brewed just for then. The downside of this is they are all enormously bad and more the kind of thing you’d drink on a dare than for pleasure. This is pretty typical for an Lithuanian malt liquor in that it is super strong and tastes something like a cross between cotton candy and grain alcohol. It is a slightly cloudy clear color w/ no head whatever and a sticky texture that would hurt drinkability even if it tasted it good, which I assure you it does not. The logo for the brewery that makes this, Rinkuškiai, is sort of a stylized factory complete w/ smog belching smokestack and I feel that is quite a good match for their beer. They are industrial concoctions brewed strictly for profit, essentially drunkenness commodified as there can be no reason to drink this beyond its effect on the human brain. I have a weird love and hate relation w/ brews like where I am compelled to drink them even though I find them to taste more or less like licking a dirty truck tire and sucking a watermelon Jolly Rancher while pounding a Steel Reserve. This particular brew is not as wince-worthy as some but I have to say I do find myself stifling a gag or two even after I’ve acclimated myself to its awful taste. That is a pretty impressive feat for a terrible beer and for that I give this 9.5% ABV moster all the respect its due.
