Bottle. 2.99$. Pours a clear light gold color with a small white head. Nose is light straw and grain with some grassy hop notes. Palate was thicker then anticipated and left a filmy note. Flavors of grains and straw and grassy hops with a light filmy finish.

Dark yellow pour with a thin white head that dissapated immediately. Aroma is sweet. Taste is sweet and a little metallic. The label is better than the beer.

Not bad at all, but also far from good. Caramel, sweet malt, and booze flavors. Tastes like part sweet malt liquor and part full bodied lager.

Sampled at Eastern Europe tasting at the Tops Tasting Room in Tempe. Light in taste, big in booze. Average mouthfeel. Mix between a malt liquor and a dopplebock.

Yeah, foreign strong lagers from Lithuania. Boom! Nose of alcohol, play dough, some apple, and malt. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of play dough, alcohol, earth, corn, apple. Alcohol burn in finish. Would rate higher if it was listed as malt liquor but its listed as dopplebock. Clearly a malt liquor.

16.9 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 12/14/13. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of heavy corn, pale malts and some dusty notes. The taste is heavy corn, pale malts, doughy notes, the mildest bit of hops. Thin bodied, boozy. Malt liquor, basically.

Bottle: Pours a clear deep golden with a thin ring of white head. Has a sweet toasty caramel malty nose with some light fruity esters and a touch of lager yeastiness. Starts with average fullness and decent light caramel malty sweetness with some malt-liquor characteristics, but overall fairly clean tasting, just a little thin and warming. An ok heller bock and not bad for the price.

Malty aroma is of average strength with a fruity note and a hint of caramel. It pours a clear golden amber with a fairly thick, if not persistent, pale golden-tan head. Flavor is malty, about average, with licks of caramel and pear, nothing special but still palatable. There is an appreciable, if not strong, alcohol kick. Texture is rather fizzy, but finish is rather wan. Overall, fair to middlin’ but worth a try.
