2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 crossovert (2547) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 8, 2011
A generic Euro pale lager, nothing to see here really. It is mild, low on taste, easy to drink, pretty much meaning it fits the generic stats of an EPL.

Big gold label with white letters and black pinstriping. No gunk on the bottom of bottle. Looks like a hefe or maybe a hazy pale lager, which it is heheh. Smell is older and I think this may be old (or aged hah) because of the rumors I’ve heard regarding the store. Code is 154339. High gravity lager aroma, sweet and mild at times. Strong lager rudeness borders on old malt liqour. Mechanical and processed palate. Little CO2 from the bottle and not much fizz on the throat. Bitter rudeness develops as slug simmers. Watery palate of slightly flat soda if you ignore the alky.

Pours a very clear pale straw with small white head. Primarily grain, bread, sweetness. This one is a little grassier in the finish.

draft beer from a beerfest. thick texture with a light color. definite yeast/bready taste but smooth finish. maybe not for everyone, but definitely worth a try.

Had this at a beer fest in the Poconos, and man it’s better than it’s ratings. Now yes it is a lager, but it’s a fine specimen. It’s a bit corn and bread in the nose. It’s yellow in color. It’s a bit doughy and hop, maybe some honey as well. It’s smooth feeling. I enjoyed this where others, apparently did not. Maybe worth another try for those who didn’t enjoy it. They might of had a skunked batch perhaps.

Bottle. It is amazing how much this beer tastes like American mass produced beer and they all seem to taste the same!
