3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appeared flat on the pour - tasted fine so I assume that the beer wasn’t too badly damaged. Copper red no head. Sticky sweet toasty aroma. Sweet taste that finishes kind of sour with a bit of roasted malts. Alcohol on the finish. Fair brew.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Lithuanian beer! I’ve been waiting my whole life to try beer from Lithuania! Oh wait. I’ve never given a shit about beer from Lithuanian. Confuse those things sometimes. Werewolf, a smelly, brown, unwelcoming brew, starts with a surprising, almost Belgian, sweetness, but quickly devolves into an odd bitterness. Not an expected hoppy bitterness, though, but a poor-water-from-unknown-European-origins bitterness. Kind of like they threw one of those potable water tablets into a semi-legitimate beer. But, come on, how can you not try a Lithuanian beer named Werewolf? (12/1/2008)

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle: Pours a clear amber color, thin head. The nose is big and sweet with a full on fruit and corn barrage that can only be stopped by the huge sweet alcohol slam in the flavor. Ugh. So sweet, syrupy and thick with cotton candy and toffee mixed with cough medicine. Blech.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer pours a medium to dark gold with a huge light tan head that rises about 3 fingers but doesn’t have great retention. Tons of carbonation. Lacing is ok.
The aroma is light mostly some skunk with a little sweetness at the end.
The taste is light get a little sweetness but mostly weak hops and skunky.
The feel is terrible its very light, almsot water-like.
The beer is pretty drinkable.
Overall, this isn’t very taste but I can’t believe its got 8.2% abv. You wouldn’t think it for a second. If you just want to drink something watery and get cracked this is the beer for you.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
poured from import 16.9 oz bottle - well look, pretty bad, but drinkable at 8.2%! This is like Lithuania’s malt liquor perhaps? Heavy wheat and alcohol! Man, poorly crafted, but this was the expectation. Are those esters on the nose? I really don’t know. Just a mess, but a few of these will get you ’messed.’
