3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appeared flat on the pour - tasted fine so I assume that the beer wasn’t too badly damaged. Copper red no head. Sticky sweet toasty aroma. Sweet taste that finishes kind of sour with a bit of roasted malts. Alcohol on the finish. Fair brew.

Bottle at the Lithuanian Hall. Pours clear amber with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like sweet corn musky malt, boozy, nutty. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet corn, musky malt, and booze.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma was almost purely yeast, some small grain and maybe leather or earth in there. Taste follows the smell, nothing complex, some yeast and malt, some grass and earth. It’s bitter but not that bad. I drank it ice cold from a stein. The color was the best thing about it, amber, orange, hazy, coloring, medium carbonation but no head. It’s okay. Not that great.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
This was billed as a Belgian dark ale when I bought it. It is emphatically not.
Quite frankly, I’d rate it this low as a pilsner/pale lager as well. If not lower.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16.9 FL OZ ($3.99) Not the beer to go into thinking you can chug this. Its tuff! flavor is like a heavy Lager flavor which is nice because Lager is usually so watery. I enjoy this beer but won’t be popping this one first again. A good second round beer.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear amber pour with a dark ruby hue. Weak head and lacing. The nose is of malt against a strong alcohol background. Medium body with a smooth texture. Low carbonation level. The flavor profile is two dimensional - caramel malt sweetness over a strong alcohol background. The hop level is so low it’s almost undetectable. As it warms, and the palate becomes accustomed to the alcohol, the sweetness comes forward. On the finish, it flows from sweetness to an alcoholic aftertaste. A good, but not great, beer. More hops and dark malt would improve this one a great deal.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured a clear amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of grain, caramel and toffee. The taste was the same with some dark fruits added in the finish. Ok.
