Bottle. This is the best tasting Lithuanian beer I have had to date. That’s not saying much though. This had a much better taste than the others. Smelled like the others though except the smell of alcohol is more prominent. Appearance is the same. Overall I would recommend it once.

Let’s just get one thing straight up front -- this is not a stout! This is a very sweet, strong lager with precipitous alcohol. The bottle I purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquor actually had a small, red paper hanging around the neck advertising 9.5%. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. Pours an amber color with a white head. Nutty amber, malt smell, rough like dog food. Creamy, silky, very sweet taste. No discernible carbonation on tongue. More of a barleywine than a stout. Palate is very aggressive.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 esjaygee (2496) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - APR 10, 2008
Hazy golden yellow with medium quickly diminishing head. Sweet malt and candy aroma. Candy sweet malt taste that is overpowered by the alcohol. Medium bodied and a little too sweet and syrupy, definitely not balanced. If the alcohol weren’t so overpowering it wouldn’t be that bad.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 colts9016 (198) - Idaho, USA - APR 3, 2008
Pour: An amber color with a 2 finger head.
Nose: Wheat, sweet malt, and yeast.
Taste: Slightly bitter with a sweet malty yeasty, with a hint of hops.
Body: Medium
Finish: Slightly bitter finish.

500ml bottle. I’ve had this one in the refrigerator for weeks, dreading it. The color is cloudy orange. The aroma wasn’t so bad. The taste is a tad overly sweet, almost a little fruity flavor, and the alcohol’s presence hides right behind it.. Not quite a drain pour, but always threatening. Better than US Macro Malt Liquor and some of the worst of the worst Russian/Ukranian trash out there. Almost like a bad Belgian beer...so not that bad.

Pours a lively golden color with a foamy white head. Sweet and fruity aroma, most natable is apple. Sweet honey flavor and a slightly bitter alcohol finish. Not bad at all, highly drinkable for the alcohol content.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cletus (6025) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 12, 2008
Pours gold with a white head. Smells of apples, honey, some crisp malt. Tastes moderately dry with some fruity esters thrown in. Better than their other offerings I’ve had.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 jgentgesdo (597) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 24, 2007
Pours clear yellow with a quickly diminishing white head. Nose is metallic wheat. Flavor of slightly rotten malt, rotten fruit, old hops. Very strong alcohol notes. Metallic finish. Oh god dreadful... I could not finish this bottle.
