(Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of Juicy Fruit gum, caramel, light floral, and freshly ground grain (exactly the same as the Aiko). Flavor of caramel malt, sour dough, and sweet corn.

(50cl bottle) Lightly hazed golden body with quickly dissipating medium white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread, some caramel, light herb/mint. Taste is moderately sweet, bread/caramel, some herb/mint, light corn. Medium body, some stickiness, alcohol not too strong.

Bottle from T’s in Tempe, AZ. Label said 9%. Light amber color with a frothy beige head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. The flavor is roasted caramel - suggestive of cola. There’s heat. The finish approaches astringent. Interesting, but not my choice in any situations I can envision.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate grassy hop and alcohol aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Drinkable high alcohol brew.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of apples, honey, some crisp malt. Tastes moderately dry with some fruity esters thrown in. Better than their other offerings I’ve had.

Ughsmash (5631) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 11, 2007
Bottled. Clear medium golden pour with a short-lived white head. Aroma of sweet corn adjuncts & honey with wafts of alcohol singing the nose hairs. Flavor was about the same as the nose... heavy corn, honey, and alcohol.. all those sugars made it really hard to drink.. sticky, sharp finish with a chalky bitterness. Highly viscous around the edges with a slick middle. Not good.

Bottle: Golden yellow, light head, fuzzy. Light grain, minerals and sweet sharp yeast and corn in the nose. Big impact of grain and light bitterness. A little balanced actually and comes across a little more like an american malt liquor. Not bad in comparison.
