Slightly hazy golden with pillowy white head. Sweet malty nose with honeyed character and light fruit and corn notes. Plum figgyness in the body with a sticking warmness matched by a bozzy flavor, with a touch of cherry and a lingering souring aftertaste. This brew doesn’t come together very cleanly.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2008 The aroma is metallic and alcoholic with malt and a touch of grass. The appearance is golden with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma and somewhat astringent. The palate is thin. I wouldn’t drink this again even if it was available where I live.

Golden-bronze colour with no head. Aroma of alcohol, toasted grain, and some DMS. The flavour is balanced between very sweet caramel/toast malts and a stiff woody alcohol finish. (He said "stiff woody"). It’s reasonably drinkable for a high-test Eurobrew.

a slightly hazy orange beer with a small creamy yellowish head that fades and has the appearance of gasoline. alcohol, moldy basement, candy sugar aroma. flavor is very sweet with plenty of sugary corn flakes, a hint of spice(?) and a very warming finish. medium bodied. boozy.

clear wheat yellow with ultra thin, quickly gone white carby head. aroma is heavy on wheat, maybe with touch of lemon. flavor packs much more a hop punch and then quickly fades into a resounding lemon-lime citrus aftertaste that lingers. tastes really lingers on, smooth is finish, body light.

Zwonk! Biff! Blort! It’s kind of like 60’s Batman. It’s aroma is malty alchohol. It’s flavor is the same. It’s appearance and palate are carbonated. It is clean amber. It’s feel is a bit to astringent for me, but it’s actually otherwise ok.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cereal, husks), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of alcohol, honey, and apple, hint of wood. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Honeyish but husky.

Thanks to Tronraner for this fine offering:). Clean golden pour with a hint of orange. A large corn aroma. A flavor much like chewing styrofoam and gum at the same time. Carbonation is way too much and palate is extra thin. Just barely drinkable, but I’ve had worse.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2009 500 ml. Sampled on New Years Eve 2007, but couldn’t figure out how to enter a new beer on the site! Golden with a medium-sized and lasting head. Typical honey and grass aroma. Flavor is a nice balance of the same, slightly tilted to the honey side on the front and a hint of a grassy-hop finish. I thought the alcohol was well-hidden. Body is light-medium and sort of smooth; nice winter warmer lager.

Thanks to tronraner for bringing this one to stevo’s. Well, I’ll have to be honest, this is not a great beer, but I found it to be no more offensive than an American swill Lager. Thin fleeting head of white over a pale yellow body. The aroma is largely acetaldehyde with some honey. The flavor is sweet with no balance from the hops if they are even there at all. Drinkable, but very one dimensional and a bit sweet.
