2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at ABQ brewpub. Pours yellow with a thin white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Slight floral note on the nose. It does coat the tongue. Slight hop flavor with a touch of bitterness. Meh!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to knm for the bottle
A: Pours a slightly hazed caramel color with a small sopay cap, retention is decent
S: mellow nose, piny and resinous, caramel malts, and earthy yeast. Pretty malt forward, kind of grassy
T: interesting flavor..not really what you would expect from an IPA, but more pale ale like. Lots of malts, caramel, grassy and herbal hops. Bitterness is lower than normal
MF/D: Medium body, herbal/vegetal finish, carbonation is nice. Pretty drinkable but not really typical of the style

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden-orange in color with excellent thick, sudsy white head. FLoral hoppy aroma with citrus notes. Light bodied but sharp with the hops. Pretty refreshing and hoppy. I think this one is better than it gets credit for.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Bottle] Pours a light brown color with a dense off-white head on top. Nose is of herbal hops, citrus and lesser amounts of pine. Bready malts, moderate hop bitterness, caramel and astringent grains in the taste. Lingering, but thin, dry bitterness. Decent. More flavor than I expected after trying their other beers.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Slightly hazy dull amber. Thin white head. The aroma is dull - mostly earthy and a bit mushroomy. Low bitterness and the sweetness is dull caramels. A very boring mid 90s interpretation of the style.
