Just not a big fan of the taste of this beer. The chile flavor doesnít really come through or it is coming through but it is messing with the cerveza flavor to create itís own not so palatable taste.

Pale yellow. No head. The chilli character is the only redeeming quality of this beer in aroma, flavor, and palate. The chilli isnt too assertive, just enough to be meaningful without taking over. Every other quality is unpleasant. Corn.. dumped some of this and I NEVER waste beer...

12 ounce bottle at a sharing. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of chilis and malt. Taste is chilis, malt, and corn. Ugh.

Draft at the pub at ABQ. Pours a clear golden color with a light, green hue. No head at all. Light, malty aroma with some grass notes and a hint of chile. Light malty taste. Nothing much except for the very faint aftertaste of chile. Interesting, but not terrible.

A - Pours a golden pale color with a thin white head that vanishes quickly.
S - Pickled green chiles, mild grain, savory aromas.
T - Follows the nose but more of a sweeter red chile, bits of muted vinegar, no heat, mild hops in the background.
M - Moderate foamy carbonation, light bodied.
Very interesting flavors. This would go great with chips and salsa.

Appearance: very clear light yellow color, small white head, doesn't look very dense
Aroma: very strong peppers aroma, smells spicy, strong smelling, smells just like a chili
Taste: has a strong pepper essence with out the heat although you can get hints of heat
Palate: soft carbonation, light body, not much of an aftertaste
Overall: could catch a little more of the non hot flavors of the chili, you just get hints of heat I think it does the heat aspect well

Totally horrible. A step above Miller, Coors, bud. But smells like nacho cheese and tastes like bad stale chiliís.

Bottle - Actually smells like roasted chillies, although a bit artificial. Lime and a sweetness that you normally get with lagers. Clear gold no head at all, looks like ginger ale. No bitterness at all, flavour disappears so quick you donít get a chance to enjoy it, but a lingering heat in the back of the throat. Half way through that unique smell and taste gets very old.

Wow... this beer looks horrible. Itís nearly impossible to get it to form any head, and what little head does form fizzles out in a matter of a few seconds. There isnít even much carbonation released from the bottle when itís opened. I have a feeling this is widespread. Its color is a light, muted yellow color and the body itself looks extremely clear and practically water-like... about as bad as you can get.
The nose is actually pretty sweet, with a hint of chiles and really reminds me of a Mexican breakfast plate, strong with green sauce. As much as it reminds me of food, itís not too bad. Unfortunately, this is where my short-lived kudos end. Although the flavor tastes exactly like the aroma, it really seems like something that should only be smelled... and not tasted (at least without being in the presence of a very strong-malted beer, like a stout). Yes, actually, this would taste great if it was a stout. Unfortunately, itís about as far as a beer could get from a stout. It just has way too strong of a green chile flavor to be coupled with such a light-bodied beer that has practically no malt presence. Itís honestly hard to finish. My suggestion: cook with it. Donít drink it.
