OK IPA...haze but no problem, for small brewery. Grassy pine citrus...typical IPA off 78. Nothing more nothing less.

Pours yellow gold, quite clear. Medium white head, foamy with pretty good lacing and retention. Floral, grapefruit hops, moderately juicy, some berries and pineapple, little to no malt character. Fairly dry, moderate bitterness, grapefruit hop flavor, citrus rind finish, clean aftertaste. Light, fizzy feel, a little bit of hop oil.

On tap @ Rip Current. Clear golden pour with a white head. Dank, piney, citrusy hops. Orange, grapefruit, and a bit of tropical fruit. Sweet peach, a touch of bread, and hints of herbs. Fairly dry on the tongue. Very bitter, as well. Lots of grapefruit, orange, and peach fruitiness from the hops. Slight malt flavor and sweetness.

Nice IPA but I wanted Lupilin Lust which was out. This is a balanced yet kind of dry IPA for this region (I am used to the juicy fruit IPA’s like Pupil, DMJ, Poormans).

Draught at the brewery. Clear golden beer with a nice white head. Hoppy fruity aroma, citrus, grassy, pears, pine apples, mango, some peach. Hoppy citrus flavor, pine apples, caramel, cream, passion fruit, peach, some biscuits. So refreshing, these guys know how to make IPA:s.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Lovely aroma, lots of grapefruit, peach, orange and tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with some pine, more tangerine, grapefruit and peach, balking pale malts, touches of pee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish but still really full on with the hops -- quite an achievement. More ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit, mango, light bread, piss, pine, tangerine. Stellar. Super drinkable.

On draft at the brewery. Semi hazy golden pour, with a white head. Grapefruit, pine, citrusy hops, and some sweet malt. But the beer is mostly dry. Decent IPA, fairly simple.

On tap. Golden pour with a frothy white head. Pungent pine and hop bitterness in the aroma with a slightly herbal quality and a thin, minimal malt backbone. Taste is hop dominated with pine and complimentary bitterness and the most minimal of malt presence. Clean, relatively dry mouthfeel. Highly aromatic beer but it seems to spiral a bit out of balance without a stabilizing malt backbone. Quite nice nonetheless.

ACD (619) - Dublin, IRELAND - OCT 21, 2013
Tap at City Beer. Light gold. Plenty of grapefruit and zesty orange on the nose, decent whack of pine needles too. Loads of intense grapefruit and pine needle hop character in the taste, some lush herbal notes, crisp biscuit malt profile - hops do all the talking here. Semi dry finish, great bite. Lingering pithy citrus and pine needles. Superb.
