On tap at brewery. Hazy reddish brown with a fizzy off white head. Caramel, molasses, grain, and citrus hops aroma and taste with an earthy bitterness to the finish.

On tap at tasting room.pours a reddish copper with a one finger off white head. Aroma is of pine, sweet malts, caramel, and some citrus. Taste is of pine, toasted malts, caramel, toffee, and citrus. Has a medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, moderately long finish. Overall, a very tasty, hoppy, and drinkable amber.

On tap 4 oz. pour at Churhill's Pub in San Marcos, CA. Clear, copper red with off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of tangerine, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, floral hops and caramel. Amber in color with a khaki head. Nice citrusy hop profile or orange and grapefruit. Floral hops, pineapple, and a nice toffee sweetness. Toasted malt, bread, and some perfume. Good balance of malt sweetness and hops. Light pine bitterness, citrus zest, and grapefruit. Some floral notes, toasted malt sweetness, bread, and caramel.

I had this on tap at the brewery in San Marcos, CA. This reddish pour with white-ish yellow head, was malty/sticky in flavor with a nice hop balance.

Hoppy amber ale in the Double Overhead Series. Spare, fizzy white head. Pretty nut brown/red color. Heavy hops aroma, with tinge of peach and bubble gum. Lively carbonation, with bitter alcoholic pine aftertaste.
