COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish.

English: Our India Pale Ale is traditionally brewed out of water, pale ale barley malt, dry roasted wheat, hops and brewer’s yeast. The result is a strong, aromatic, extra-hopped and beautiful golden beer. The IPA is a classic sailor’s beer, with an extra addition of the natural conserving element of hops so that the beer could keep though the long sea journey around the Cape all the way to India, when it was a British colony. The joke is of course that the beer was so good that it never made it off the island, and stayed to become a typical English pub beer.

Aroma of pilsermalt. Taste is better. Citrus and some earthy notes. After a while the pilsermalt comes through. Feels like they havnt boiled this one long enought since it contain DMS.

Light golden hazy with a frothy white head. Flowery floral aroma, wet grass with a very faint biscuity malt centre. Softly carbonated, light slick texture. Light-medium bodied with some floral sweetness and a floral hop bitterness. Pretty well balanced, subtle and straight forward yet leaning to the floral side. Finish is medium lasting

Poured from bottle, semi clear amber with low head. Aroma faint with some citrus and hay. Taste is very mild with some bitterness and some sweetness. Notes of bread, hay and a trace of chemicals. Not very enjoyable.

Nothing wrong with the drink itself - a bit sweet and not too hoppy beer for women and children - but why did they name it IPA?

Oransje med lavt skum. Anonym Aroma av malt og frukt. Smaken er mye malt, med innslag av bitterhet og sitrus. Medium konsistens

Bottle from Føtex. Clear golden with a fully gone off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, sugar and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Very light. 290714

Clear golden, airy offwhite head. Malty, grassy aroma. Flavour is similar, sweetish, alcohol. Weak hint of citrus. Not what I expect from an IPA.

Alt for tynd. Virker nærmest lidt som en fornærmelse mod IPA’erne og mangler grundlæggende bid!!

Bottle, 50cl. Pours clear golden with a airy, off-white head which quickly vanishes. Aroma of hops, citrus fruits and a light malty touch. Bittersweet flavoured with a not particular pleasant acid sourness in the middle. Malt, grassy along side. Medium bodied, average carbonated. Sharp around the edges, unbalanced and nothing like an IPA. Disappointed.

Below average IPA, and one could easily mistake it for at hoppy pilsner. Cascade hops? Really? Non-detectable! Just a plain brew with some hoppy notes, but not in any way dominant. Quite dissapointing

Bottle from Super Brugsen - golden pour with small white head. Sweet malty and fruity, grassy, too sweet and pretty rough round the edges, not great.
