4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from The Drinkery, Londonderry NH. Aroma is light malt with strong floral/citrusy smell. Appearance is hazy yellow with massive foamy white head with decent retention and foamy lacing. Taste is mildly sweet taste of melon/rind in the first half and then more strongly sweet and fruity second half. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture with soft carbonation and long finish with mild bitter at the very end. Overall, intriguing aroma and taste, nice appearance, and pleasing palate. High marks all around.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught and bottles since debut, most recently Spring 2015.
Hazy golden body has a small but fairly well-retained head.
Fresh, aromatic, floral hops in the nose are fragrant but boast no heavy acidity or pine, which seems like a big accomplishment these days, when using colombus and centennial. Orange rind, wheat-like nuttiness and biscuit-like malt with a bit more honey as it warms.
Not quite sure exactly why I love this beer so much. The drinkability is certainly at the forefront and the lack of punchy or heavily acidic hop notes dosent hurt either. Medium-light bodied, well-attenuated, with fruity and nutty notes from the rye and yeast. Of the hazy IPAs/Pale ales, this one seems on a whole nother level for me and almost strikes me as an unfiltered hoppy wheat ale (which I thought was what it was for a long while). Replace the wheat with rye and youre not far off. Somehow still delicate, with touches of honey for balance and no astringency or huskiness. Just a great beer and enough reason for me to almost always try these guys’ other offerings.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from the discount bin at Parker Pie. Batch 208, born on 040814, so presumably not so fresh anymore. Pours a clear light golden at first, then slightly hazy for the rest of the bottle with a thin white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is quite fruity and certainly hoppy but a little faded I think. That is moderately dry and bitter, fruity. Not much rye spiciness. Body is light to medium and carbonation moderate. Overall a good american pale ale, would like to try a fresh bottle of this someday.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It has a yellow pour with a long lasting white foamy head. Lacing. Grainy pale malt notes at first along with a grassy or lemon note. Light to medium body. Same pale malt, grainy flavor with that lemon bite kicking in throughout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at tasting room. Pours a hazy straw gold. Hint of rye but not overwhelming. Nice carbonation level. Drinks somewhat slick. Light malt and bready notes. Dankness in there- columbus hops for sure. Bitterness on finish lingers. Nice hop presence in a lighter beer. Refreshing and different.
