COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spinnaker is the perfect companion to a lazy summer day. With a nod to the traditional hazy wheat beers of Germany, our hefeweizen balances sweet yeast esters and spicy phenolics with a refreshing bready body.

Tap at source. Pours slightly hazy yellow white head. Aroma is typical German wheat notes, clove, slight esters (mild banana). Flavor is banana, esters, wheat. Quite sweet. Not bad. Not great.

Bottle from The Drinkery, Londonderry NH. Aroma is mild fruity esters with some yeast and some bready malt. A little like a Chardonnay. Appearance is clear light greenish yellow with no sparkle and no head/lacing. Taste is lightly sweet with slight fruity taste. Palate is light-bodied with thin texture and lively carbonation--perhaps the thing that stands out the most in the beer, and surprising given the lack of sparkle and head. Finish is dry and mildly bitter. Overall, true to the style--a refreshing, light, carbonated beer that satisfies a parched throat on a hot, summer day.

Gold pour, nice white head. Aroma of spice, yeast, banana, pear and bubblegum. Flavor of banana, yeast, barnyard, cloves, with a wheaty finish.

A very solid hefe! Has a nice pour - golden w/ a retaining white head that leave lacing. The aroma is fairly bland by that’s pretty standard to the style. The mouthfeel is nice & light w/ some hints of banana & other subtle spices in the taste. Nicely done & I believe this is my 1st try from this brewer!

Nice German style wheatbeer. Nothing really special, but clean, fresh and true to the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Meditrina. Had this so many times I can’t believe I never rated it. Very pale cloudy straw gold with fluffy noisy white head and lace. Clove pineapple bubble gum banana aroma. Medium pineapple fruity sweetness with clean clovey bitterness. Very light body with lively carbo. Excellent. I could easily drink this in one gulp.

Aroma is lacking. The typical banana clove is a bit overpowered by a little skunky notes. Flavor is a bit watery. Ekh.

Pours clear yellow with a massive frothy white head. Is this actually a Kristallweizen? Only became slightly hazy when I belatedly poured in the yeast slug. Tangy wheat aroma reminds me of a Berliner but without the acids and with way more of a yeast presence. Flavor is mostly more of the same only a little duller. Refreshing soft mouthfeel. Good late summer wheat.

Bottle from Harvest Market Pours a hazy deep straw color with a decent sized big bubbled white head that dissipates quickly like diet fountain soda. Aromas of lemon, wheat, and a bit of yeasty funk. Not much appetizing about the nose IMHO. The flavor is a little sweet a bit spicy and tart with hints of lemon and yeasty funk. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a tart almost piercing mouthfeel. I didn’t enjoy this one very much.
