COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heady like the sweet breath of Zephyrus, our India pale ale is redolent of citrus, apples, and pears, balanced by a touch of caramel. We use malted barley grown by local farmers and add a special blend of Cascade, Centennial, and Calypso hops to create this juicy, hoppy ale.

From the bomber, it pours a beautiful golden copper and yields the same color body. A great two inch foamy white head appears and lasts for at least a good two minutes. There is some spider web lacing speckling the sides of the glass. The smell has a good complexity of hops and malts, some sweet, some bitter, and some spicy. The taste has a peppery yet piney sort of flavor that to me that I really like. The palate is superb as it is not watery nor is it sharp, a perfect feel on the tongue. Overall, I was not expecting this IPA to be this good, but this is really awesome.

Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, riped orange, light earhty hops. Flavor is moderate to heavysweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, riped fruit, orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130815]

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle dated 11.13.14. Very cloudy, milky unfiltered pale yellow pour with a long lasting foamy head. The aroma is decently hopped with grassy and floral notes. Toasted malts. The body is medium and maybe a bit better. The taste is also grassy, floral, toasty, and finishes fairly bitter. Not an overwhelming hop character but enough to make it memorable.

On tap at tasting room. One of best IPA’s of Maine trip. Pours deep orange with a nice white head. Nose is pine, citrus, floral. Caramel balances it out. Drinks really smoothly- bitterness is present but not overpowering. Pine notes linger. Very drinkable. Not over the top. Well done.

Deep gold with a small head. Very west coast aroma and hop taste. Reminds me of Ballast Point Big Eye or Sculpin.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine and lemon. Taste follows and adds some leafy, herbal hop bitterness and a hint of blueberry. Thin mouthfeel, high carb and quick finish. This bottle is really fresh and it shows. Awesome.

Bottle - 6 days old, from the brewery. Bright yellow, huge head, tons of lacing. Aroma is cracker and light pine. The taste adds pineapple, pear, and honey. Light and refreshing mouthfeel, super drinkable, clean finish. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Despite the good ratings here for this beer, I find it underrated. Nicely bitter, well-typed, certainly strong. Pine and focused bitterness.

12oz into a rising tide stemmed glass. Pours a hazy geled orange and honey. Fluff lacing coats nicely. Aroma of pine, citrus, dry cedar and hops. Taste is a let down. Dry and bitter, the splash on the tounge leaves the aroma expectations aloft. No strong hop bite, just dry pine and orange. Kind of flat on the pallate. OK IPA, but for 7.5% as the bottle reads, there is not enough prominence of this is be stealar.

Light amber colour. Pine aromas and flavour. A decent IPA but nothing special
