Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Koelschtrinker (10504) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 7, 2011

500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Much thanks to shrubber85 for this one. Pours a dark golden color with a thick short white head. Aroma is fruit, malts and spices. Taste is smooth and very malty. Palate is also very nice.

Swing-top bottle from the brewpub. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt and grass hops aroma. Clear amber color with large head. Sweet creamy barley malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Decent body. Pretty good beer overall.

MiP (13596) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy amber colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is quite malty with a low bitterness. Clean enough, but not what I expected from a Helles.

A Mes rate: bottle from Quinns.
Beautifully clean pale gold with an impressive white head and a fantastic snowstorm when swilled. Pleasant grassy hops and creamy malt. Very faint cardboard and metal but the rest of it is good enough to hold it in check. Good bitterness in the finish. Clean and tasty. One dimensional but jolly good at what it does.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2011 2011-05-17, draught at the brauhaus, 7-3-6-3-13=32
Cloudy blond color; creamy head. Mild hop aroma, with traces of malt; very light fruitiness. Dry and lean mouthfeel, with a rather ordinary malt flavor. Strong bitterness, maybe too much.

2010-09-13, draught at the brauhaus, 6-4-5-2-10= 27
Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. Malt and hop aroma, too light. The body is rather weak; there is a very light malt and caramel flavor, and a common bitterness; in the final there is a bit of aspartame-like sweetness.
There is not a single interesting characteristic here; boring.

2008-06-26, draught at the brauhaus, 5-3-6-2-11= 27
Hazy copper color; creamy head. It has some malt and hop aroma. Medium body, some malt flavor and caramel, some sweetness too, correct bitterness. Drinkable but without emotions.
