On tap @ El Pedal. Amber colour with a creamy off-white head with good lasting. Aroma is slightly caramel and malty. Toasty flavor with notes of hay, fruits and mild nuts. The final is moderate bittery with nutty notes and light dry.

Head is initially large, frothy/creamy, off-white, fully lasting.
Body is hazy light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of gum/candy and grape jelly.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation.
Kinda weird aroma, candy-ish in a not-so-good way...artificial or something. Quite sweet in the mouth, perhaps unsurprisingly, but ok really...no dirty aftertaste or anything. But damn, what an appearance and mouthfeel...big creamy lasting head, hazy glow, and very creamy mouthfeel. Strange mix of good and bad...or if not bad, just undesirable.

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, smaller lasting foamy layer, herbal-fruity nose with a slight metallic touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; malty-fruity finish with a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Not very aromatic, but quite a solid thirst-quencher…

Sieht aus wie ein trübes Alt. Im Aroma und Geschmack fast identisch: Getreidig, brotig, nussig und auch hefig. Nicht unbedingt meine bevorzugte Geschmacksrichtung, aber ordentlich umgesetzt.

Toasty malty and yeasty, slightly doughy aroma with notes of caramel and nuts, accompanied by grassy and delicately fruity hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lightly over-carbonated mouthfeel. Initially moderately toasted malty taste with caramel, a shy nutty touch and present hoppy notes from the middle part; sweet-bitter and mildly toasty finish with caramel and shades of chocolate in the aftertaste. 01.II.13

(bottle) pours a hazy deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of bread dough, roasted malts, grain, physalis and oranges, also slightly woody. flavour is mostly the same, summer fruits over a grainy and roasty base, with a light hint of coffee in the finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.
