Weiss particolare perché vengono esaltate le tonalitá maltate. non male il risultato considerato che resta al di sotto dei 5 gradi.

500ml Flip-top bottle in Weiss Blau, Berlin on 21st Jan 2016. Amber pour to this malty brew with an off-white head. Semi-sweet with a mild hop bitterness just below the surface to help cancel out the sweet caramel notes within both the nose and flavour.

Many thanks for this swing top beer to kevnic2008. Piwo o niewielkiej piance, karmelowo zbozowym smakiem, chlebowa skorka, slodowosc byla tu pierwsza ale taka zbozowa niezbyt slodka. Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, nisko wysycone, naturalne piwo. Ogolnie srednio-dobre. Stylowa czarno-biala etykieta podobala mi sie.

Bottle. Pour dark amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, slightly notes of corns, vanila, bread. Flavor is sweet hints of yeast and light bitterness. Medium to low carbonation and medium to full body with a sweet finish and quite dry aftertaste.

On tap @So Good (Rome). Pours amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is malty, sugary, caramel, honey, bread. Flavour is sweet, unbalanced and one-dimensional. Light body, medium to light carbonation. Boring.

Tough to pin this one down; it strikes me differently every time. Sweetish nose of nutty grain, light caramel, orange zest. Lightly hazed orange-amber color. Tall sturdy foam. Mildly sweet, firmly bitter, tangy minerals. Bittersweet, lingering light resin. Plenty of character and easy to drink.

Bottle 0.5l. Pours brown orange with off white head. Aroma has malt, bread, dried fruits, plums. Excellent. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, malty, bread, slightly roasted, some dried fruits. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, soft carbonation, slightly spicy. Excellent.

It’s a lager. It’s dark orange with barely any head. There’s bread and maltyness on the nose and bread and maltyness on the palate. It’s simplistic and drinkable.

bartlebier (2966) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 15, 2014
50cl fliptop, Edeka Mohr, Bonn 02/2014, GC Tour de Rheinländle. Did not see how this poured, as it was consumed blind while on the road, but the beauitully simple and informative label wets the appetite enough. Rich and full-bodied for a Zwickl, with the gorgeous, characteristic Franconian spicy bread crust malts and assertive peppery hops. Unusual is the rich fruity, mousse layer of aged and old, even roasted fruits (banana, pear) and nuts (peanuts) even giving way to a distinct milk chocolate, all the while not cloying the palate, remaining immensely drinkable. A great surprise and surely one to revisit when in the area.

Trübes bräunliches Zwickel mit geringem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.
