Rittmayer Hallerndorfer Hefeweissbier

Bottle, 5.0%. Cloudy yellow colour. Big semi-unstable white head. The flavour is nicely yeasty with a good clove note. Unfortunately, the malt flavour is quite rough. Mediocre.

Tan colour. Medium head. Icing sugar and banana aroma. Foot-pedio on the palate. Light banana, a bit sweet and a thick syrupy body. Faint flavour not really my ideal pocket of wheat beer.

Draft @ Rittmayer-keller @ Kreutzberg. A great bright orange color with scant lacing and a small to medium head. Sweet hefe esters in the aroma, which has bubblegum and tangerine candy, and tropical fruit punch. The palate is oily with low carbonation. Can taste the wheat malt but the sweet flavors are cloying. Gets worse as it warms.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy pale yellow with a brown touch. Fruity nose. Velvety smooth carbonation, slightly fruity with accents of citrus fruit. Slightly malty and yeasty.

Hazy murky medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, perfume, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, soap, babana. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Fresh. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090523]

Bottle 0,5ltr; Hazy yellow Weizen with an slightly sweet taste and hints of banana.

It’s hazy, warm golden with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, banana and yeast, but it’s on the light side. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of clove, banana, yeast and wheat. It would be even better with more power in the impressions, but it’s still very OK.

Bottle at Quinns. Aroma is Lemon, Yeasty, some clove. Taste is far more wheaty, the lemon is still there which keeps it good and refreshing.
