Ceramic mug. Herbal, slightly spicy hop and lots of minerals. Big minerals, lots of hop. Just delicious kellerbier goodness. Great balance, totally refreshing.

In krug has nice deep golden color. Franken-frische aroma is earthy, woody, with some foot/sock. The palate has nice mineral granularity. The flavors are excellent, with stunning balance, farm fodder, wood, with nice floral hops and mushrooms too. Dry and very good.

Ungstrup (29281) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2008
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though added light notes of both straw and metal. The body is thin.

Bov (9492) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 7, 2008
courtesy of Per Forsgren - very clear and bright golden colour, solid off-white foam and a correct lace; fresh and herbal nose; crisp palate, medium-bodied and with a fair bitterness; dry herbal finish - well-made but boring

A Mes rate: Bottle from Quinns.
Dark golden colour with a good white head. Lovely German malt aroma. Sweet malt flavour, lovely smoky and earthy notes. Luscious mouthfeel. Really good. The sort of beer that I usually just can not get excited about but here it just all gels really well and the malts are excellent.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2008
Standard lager colored, surprised to see this not hazy at all. Little white head. Strongly buttery aroma with sweetness, reminds me of some Baltic brews even. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is not as buttery as aroma, nice hops with sweet fruity notes. Aftertaste still dries nicely with some sweet caramelly, still buttery tone. Good complex one.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a lacing white head. Butterish aroma with a mild malt note. Flavour is butterish, sweet malty and with a mild spice note. Finish is mild malty, soft with no bitterness.

faroeviking (10289) - FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 17, 2007
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with tiny floaties. Grainy, fruity, honey aroma. Faor mouthfeel. The flavour is rather waterish with a good bitterness, honey, wheat, citrus grains and yeast. Sweetish honey wheaty bitterish finish.
