3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Standard lager colored, surprised to see this not hazy at all. Little white head. Strongly buttery aroma with sweetness, reminds me of some Baltic brews even. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is not as buttery as aroma, nice hops with sweet fruity notes. Aftertaste still dries nicely with some sweet caramelly, still buttery tone. Good complex one.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with tiny floaties. Grainy, fruity, honey aroma. Faor mouthfeel. The flavour is rather waterish with a good bitterness, honey, wheat, citrus grains and yeast. Sweetish honey wheaty bitterish finish.

This was only called Landbier, same ABV, but with a different label. Very good beer. Very hoppy and quite dry. Some crisp corn taste. Extremely enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle@Quinns. Very nice. Some nice crisp grassy hops, which go well with the bready, slightly nutty malt characters. Very pleasant.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light to moderately sweet slightly honey-ish malty and citrus-fruity aroma with herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively, slightly sharp carbonation. Pale malt character with minimal fruity notes on a herbal background; dry, bitter, slightly sweet finish with light notes of herbal hops.

Swing-top bottle: straw coloured with a large frothy head which fades quickly - fresh citrus flavour, clean after-taste. Nothing special.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Impressions in the shade of the keller:
-An intricate web of citrusy and herbal hoppiness shines through the head ring.
-Hay blades and shining herbal hop flavor and bitterness impeccably unite.
-The creamy, cuddly body is both rich and drinkable, I’m falling in love.
-Earthy hop bitterness surges from the herbaceous character, a veritable garden fable.
On tap at the Rittmayer Keller on the Kreuzberg.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(Flip-top Bottle, 0,5 Litres) Golden colour, slight head, synthetic mouldy acridness, even a bit slimy, rather unpleasent. --- 26.03.04
