(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops, light powdered sugar and butter, with a hint of cactus juice, hay and banana. flavour is mostly the same, yeast and herbal hops, quite metallic, with a hint of honeymalon. light to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at the Rittmayer keller in Hallerndorf, 21/7/2013. Deep gold with a decent, off-white head. Bready malts dominated both the flavour and aroma of this beer, with a hint of grassy hop and bitter finish. Ok.

Wässrig herber Antrunk, hell würzig. Wenig malzig, im Mittelteil bereits milder werdend, wässrig malziger Ausklang. Trinkbar. 9/8/9/7/8/7

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden to golden, small - slowly diminishing - white head, a bit lacy, fresh citrussy to hayish traces of hops over a relatively solid pale-malty background, some rural-bready traces underneath; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not watery but light bodied as expected; lingering dryish bitter finish with a pale-malty counterweight. Surely not superb, but still a very decent Franconian Lager, far better than the usual german crap from other regions…

Draft at Hütt’n. Yep, it’s light alright. Especially biscuity aroma, this drinks with an overly aspect ... you could call this grain milk. Not horrible, but against the other goodies at Hütt’n, this paled. (#4377, 11/30/2011)

(bottle) Deep golden colour, big foamy head, clear. Surprisingly bitter - at least more than I expected. Light body, abrupt finish. Grainy malt aroma and grassy hops. A bit too subtle maybe, but still nice. There’s also some wet cardboard aroma. For 3.5 % abv, this is not bad at all. I probably won’t go looking for it, but would not object to drinking it again.
