Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, berry, wood, vanilla, soured milk notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, vanilla, berry - red wine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120324]

Bottled@vPBF2012. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and some mild alcohol with spices. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild alcohol, caramel and mild yeastyness.

Bottle @ Miss January / AA Meeting Afterparty Tasting, March 2012. Thanks Alex/Thomas. Pours hazy orange with a creamy head and lacings. Sweet nose. Heavy alcohol, oak, berries and vanilla. Smooth and full bodied.

Cloudy golden color. The aroma is nice, distinct oak, but also light fruity sourness that blends well, and light sweat. Good body strength, malt flavor, quite sweet, soft, with light sourness, light astringency, some fruitiness, correct bitterness, some vanilla; the alcohol is well hidden. Very interesting.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are wood, candy sugar, red wine, vanilla, malt, fruits and hops.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Oak and vanilla in the nose. Full-bodied. Very sweet front, berries, vanilla then dry woody oak. Alcohol. Not very balanced although ok dessert beer.

Bottle. pale amber color. Dried fruitm vanilla, oak and pinot noir grapes in the aroma. Malty sweet, very vinous flavor. Lots of raisin, oak, vanilla.
Bottom fermented, says the label. I can’t believe it! A masterpiece of brewing art.

Bottle. Hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruits, oak, wood and dried fruits. Flavour is malt, sweet, oak, wood, yeast, candy sugar, vanilla, berries, wine and a little sour.

Sektflasche: Golden, cloudy with an orangey sheen, mid-sized stable off-white head with a little lace, aromas of vanilla, wood, sourish fruits and some sweet pale malt in the nose; solid sweet-sourish flavour, full bodied and quite soft; the always present soft acidity accompanies the smooth fruity-woody finish. A fantastic Old Ale from Germany…

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, wood and notes of red wine. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. ABV seems higher than 9.5 %. 040213
