Our interpretation of a Belgian style Golden Ale is delightfully approachable and utterly devious. Brewed with the finest Belgian 2-row malt and a blend of traditional and new-world hops, it has extraordinary fruity and spicy aromas with mouth filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops.

The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth. 1.075 O.G.

On tap...bright yellow gold with head and lace. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus, Magnolia flower. Signicant carbonation and big mouthfeel. Flavors of amber malts, candy sugar, minerals, pear skin. Overall big, flavorful, tasty with some rough edges.

22oz bottle from the brewery. Pours a pale straw like color, not much head or lacing. Fruity pear and cotton candy nose. Sweet fruits out front. Earthy Belgian yeast with a medium body. Has a dryness in the finish.

Bottle @ home shared with Abijen. Hazy light orange color, very small particles of yeast residu floating in it, average sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, sweet hops and it also reminds me of red fruit. Taste malts, a touch of yeast, sweet sticky hops, again some red fruits and a slight hint of spicy hops. Medium body and carbonation.

Schenkt een gouden oranje bier met zwevend gist. Ruikt naar bosvruchten, aarde, thee, kruiden. Smaakt zoet vrucht, thee en kruiden. Medium body en een plakkerig mond gevoel.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, belgium yeast, coriander. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, belgium yeast, fruity, spicy. Quit refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141231]

Bottle. Golden with a medium head. Slightly sweet with some spiciness in the background. You are aware of the hops but its not a hoppy beer. Interesting.

Murky gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is dry and crisp. Sweetish malts balanced by spice. Little malt cream. Dried orange underneath. A sweet and spicy dry finish. Not bad, pretty authentic tasting but I was hoping for a US twist.
