COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gold Medal - 2013 CA State Fair Craft Beer Competition

Ritual’s take on the classic Belgian style Witbier. We begin with the finest Belgian 2-row malt along with unmalted wheat and barley for a truly authentic and complex base. We then spice it up with a dose of orange zest from our local orange groves, coriander and other spices. The result is a hazy, light-colored beer that is crowned with a long-lasting foam collar leaving a distinctive “Brussels Lace” on the inside of the glass.

The delightful citrus nose and refreshing nature of this soft and supple beer quenches the thirst while gently scrubbing away the issues of the day. This beer stands alone as a wonderful session beer and also pairs well with lighter fare such as seafood, orange chicken, salads and sunny days. 1.045 O.G.

A very hazy orange pour with a tall white head. Lemon, coriander, orange, and pepper on the nose. A light tang, some wheat bread sweetness, and grass. The flavor is a bit on the dry side and is fairly tangy, too. Semi-sweet bread flavors up front, plenty of lemon, orange, and coriander. Decent amount of grass, yeast, and pepper, too.

Tap at Ritual thanks to t0rin0. Pours a full haze, glowing straw. Weaker white foam. Good lacing. Nose is on style: zesty citrus and coriander. Taste is on style: lemon, white pepper, some dough. Big tingly carbonation. Hints of skunky, grassy hops. Good.
