DYCSoccer17 (2040), Davis, California, USA Jan 14, 2008 On tap at the brewpub in Sacramento, CA. 12 ounce sample. Strange aroma. Sweet, sugary with some spiciness. This is really bizarre...smells like marinara sauce. Seriously. I look around to see if anyone was eating anything with marinara in it or anything...nope...it’s 2:30pm on a Sunday. No one is eating squat. Ok. This is not a good aroma. Well, at least it’s pretty decent looking...mildly hazy golden body with a yellow-white medium head and fair lacing present. Wow. Vegetal off-flavors to start...boiled cabbage, holy fuck. Rotten. Becomes dry and very hoppy and bitter to finish. Please stop serving this mess of a beer.
