Sampler @ River City -
This beer just really fell flat on its face and just a poor showing. Dry stouts are hard to please anyways because they are designed for quaffing, not to stand up to a regular stout or even an impy stout. However, this just lacked any character in both the aroma and flavor department. It looked great with a dense tan head and dark black body, and the mouthfeel was silky. But thatís about where the kudos stop. Zero aroma and zero flavor. I just got nothing from it. No sweetness, no roast...itís almost like they used a concentrate or something. Pretty lame.
