COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
: Dry stout in the Irish tradition. Black as coal and very smooth. Served with a creamy head. Irish stouts are not as bitter, boasty and strong as some other stouts. Our stout is brewed to enjoy.

Tap at the brewpub. Opaque ebony with a creamy nitrous head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, and dusty oats. Taste is the same, with a touch of tart berry. Medium body is dry, watery and very sessionable.

Sampler @ River City -

This beer just really fell flat on its face and just a poor showing. Dry stouts are hard to please anyways because they are designed for quaffing, not to stand up to a regular stout or even an impy stout. However, this just lacked any character in both the aroma and flavor department. It looked great with a dense tan head and dark black body, and the mouthfeel was silky. But that’s about where the kudos stop. Zero aroma and zero flavor. I just got nothing from it. No sweetness, no roast...it’s almost like they used a concentrate or something. Pretty lame.

~Pours black with creamy off white head. ~Has a nutty, malty aroma. ~Mild coffee and malt taste, light bitterness. ~Smooth watered down feel, bitter finish. ~Seems to be a Guinness clone. It was just ok for me.
