River City Brewing Pale Ale

Draft at River City. Poured amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate tart citrus hop aroma. Light to medium body with a watery texture. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. My expectations were not met.

Sparkling clear amber ale with a quickly diminishing, white head. The aroma is of white pepper and grapefruit. The flavor is malty sweet up front; well-bittered and tart on the backside. Light-bodied and thin. Lightly oily mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Crisp, clean, refreshing finish.

Amber colored. Slightly citrus, fruity, clear gel and straw flavors. Only very slightly sweet. Fizzy. Creamy palate.
