Tap at the brewpub. Amber with a nice lasting creamy head. Mild aroma is toasted nut and caramel. Taste is the same with a crisp, toasty finish. Near-medium body is well balanced, has medium carbonation and is an easy drinker.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy white head with short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, light fruity esters and earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Really a nice, easy to drink lager with just enough toasted malt character to notice. Body is amber in color, crystal clear with an off-white fluffy head. Aroma is mostly clean with a hint of roasted malts and bread. Flavor matches the aroma profile blow for blow. Finishes really clean with just a hint of lingering sweetness. Very nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a modest off-white head and a smoky aroma. There is a thin caramel malt flavor with slight hop bitterness. A bit soapy.

On tap poured a hazy amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, toasted malt and light fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, toasted malt and light fruittiness with a crisp finish.

10 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub a couple months ago. Strangely musty aroma with some DMS hints present. A little metallic with some floral hops and light vegetal. Transparent copper body with a medium, small off-white head. OK lacing. Starts a little sweet and fruity with some vegetal flavors in the middle. I also get some lightly toasted cereal. Floral hop flavors come through in the end. Rather pedestrian.

Tap at the California State Fair -aka amber. Pours amber with a little head. Smells of light caramel. Body is near medium; carbonation is minimal. Flavor is light caramel, and it finishes with a touch of bitter.
