3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma slightly oaky, brown in color... Flavor is caramel, toffee malts, with hints of oak, not terribly complex for a wood-aged beer... Kind of disappointing, but drinkable...

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampler @ Rivery City -
This one probably intrigued me the most before actually trying it. The description says itís aged on oak, but after tasting the beer I did not get any oak character at all. I did get some light hop notes, but nothing that would scream an IPA at me. Some light iced tea notes, with some woody/earthy hops made this one kind of remind me of some kind of bitter/ESB. Decent.
