COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
Ingredients: Barley malt; organic hops; nettles.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage and Hall & Woodhouse worked together to create Stinger.
"Slightly spicy with a light bitterness and a subtle tingle that comes from the nettles. Equally good with summer barbecues and winter roasts or while sitting on a hay bale watching the sun go down".

Golden yellow with small White foam ring. Aroma is malty, taste is not the best British beer I drank. Aftertaste is short. (Velp 201306) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If you want a quick easy drink rather than a taste sensation this will be your thing. More lager than beer, uncomplicated, best suited to summer evenings watching the croquet. Low in flavour or body, but clean and thirst quenching.

Golden colour with a off white head. Moderate Aroma caramel and light fruity and hoppy nose. A very fresh and mild hoppy flavour together with a light fruitiness. A nice caramel background.

Before my palette got a little more sophisticated the good old badger brewery was one of my favourites. And what a surprise to visit the brewery the other day where I picked this beer up from. Refreshing, fruity and malty a good lunch time drink. Want to rate it more due to the memories but taste is taste! T ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An underwhelming pint. Very faint aroma of honey, but not too right, for there’s a bit of decay coming with it, suggesting a badger’s den. In spite of the rather poor appearance with hardly any head, the flavour is mellow, sweet, not too hoppy, a rather nice pale ale. Unfortunately there was never any hint of stinging nettles as per recipe or label. The good side about no stinging sensation in is that you should not fear any stinging sensation out.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an faint sweetbitter taste. An very plain ale, beer label is kind of beautiful.

Bottle. Violently cascaded out of the bottle upon opening - but then when poured, had hardly any head to speak of. Golden beer. Nose is powdery and floury, like pitta bread. In the mouth, very malty - but light malts. Quite lagery. Too much malt and not enough bitter makes this a light, summery drink - but not a spectacular drink. However, playing around with it in the mouth lets that stinging/nettle feeling come into play which makes this somewhat more interesting.
