2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Color is a muddy amber, it’s very cloudy or should I just say opaque. The head is pretty thick. Aroma is very earthy. There is the sweetness of a Belgian yeast in the taste and it’s very carbonated. The beer is light-bodied and playful in the mouthfeel. Finish is earthy.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy dark apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange-beige head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was musty bread and orange. The flavor was very sweet orange, honey, sugar and bread. The finish was long sweet orange and honey. Fairly full bodied despite being overcarbonated. Not very saison like but yummy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet, with body and hops and a linger of bitter. Very, very nice. Would make this a regular offering at my dinner table.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle from Canal’s Hainesport. Poured rather dark for a saison, hazy orange body with lots of tiny rising bubbles and a huge foamy white head. Aroma was very nice with notes of spice, yeast, corriander, fruity esters, lemon and dusty grains. The body was just way to full and foamy with loads of bubbly carbonation. Flavor was slightly acidic, lemon finish, wet spices, corriander and old bread in the middle. Started off great but then took a nose dive.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice saison on tap from River Horse. Up to par with everything they’ve made. Good saison but not the best.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pour is amber with a dense head. The aroma has some fruit and bread, a bit sour. Same for the flavor. Nice sourness gives it a clean finish. Decent brew.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, pils malt, citrus, light spices, and grass. Taste of honey, toast, spices, citrus fruits, and a semi-sweet finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
I had this on tap at Bierkraft, after a long day at work. Poured with an amber color, light head, with aromas of citrus. Tasted spices, maybe clove. An enjoyable beer.

draft. Light, golden color. Smells like hay and lemongrass. Taste sweet with a mild hoppiness. Not bad. But nothing special
