OK beer. Spiciness, cloves and cardoman beneath the surface. Understated carbonation. hopscotch (5475), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Bottle... Hazy straw-colored ale with a large, frothy, white head. Breadsy and spicy aroma with fruity esters (or actual fruit peels, I dunno). Medium-bodied and creamy with laid back carbonation. Spicy and sweet. Light acidity. Tangy, spicy finish. Pours a typical murky gold, lots of citrus and hop flavor yes some Belgian style banana in there as well. Not bad, not bad at all. Heathen (795), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2008 THOUGHTS: Nice. Finally something from River Horse that I liked. But not as much as I like Southampton’s Double White.
TECHNICAL: On tap at Grey Lodge. Poured a cloudy golden with and average-sized white head that left nice lacing. The aroma was bubble gum, wheat and spice. The flavor was wheat, yeast and some banana. The light to medium body had a moderately astringent finish. jcwattsrugger (5260), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2008 12 oz bottle-pours a big frothy off white head and cloudy yellow/gold color. Aroma is spice-coriander/clove, faint orange zest, grain. Taste is mostly dry spice-coriander/clove. Then banana/faint orange zest/pumpkin, grain/wheat with some sweetness. Pepper comes through at mid and after taste. OK carbonation. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out. Pwn3d (1054), Manhattan, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2008 One of the nicer RH’s i’ve sampled. Bottle poured out some small sediment. Aroma housed light spice, yeast, and citrus. Flavors were banana, orange, under a wheat backing. Brewer101 (163), New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Nice head and nice sediment. One of river horses better beers. It was a hazey orange pour. Its aroma was of banana and orange peel. The flavor kept with the Orange and had hints of wheat. Nice palate too. jredmond (1029), New Jersey, USA

Good aroma - orange peel. Taste is smooth (but my tongue has become weathered from the previous beers in this session) I distinctively remember this being better than any other river horse I’ve tried thus far.
