12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a thin off-white head that fades to a ring after the first sip and leaves a bit of spotty lace. Surprisingly light aroma of spice and really not much else. The flavor is a bit laid back as well with mild malt and spice along with some very subdued pumpkin. I can appreciate not being overwhelmed by the pumpkin or spices, but this one is a bit sheepish. Alcohol is very well hidden.

This is a very good pumpkin ale. The pumpkin and the spices are not over powering. A great balance. I really enjoyed drinking this but unfortunately I had only one to drink.

Capa (1908) - Manama, BAHRAIN - SEP 6, 2010
Mellow sweet, spicy, nutmeg, cinnamon in the aroma. Flavor has more of the spice and less of the sweet malt from the aroma. Nice cinnamon and nutmeg spice with a very gentle pumpkin flavor. Full mouth. The alcohol is well hidden. A nice pumpkin beer that doesn’t lean too heavily on the spices, which is nice, but could use a little more pumpkin. Still, very enjoyable and would go great with an cool early Autumn, evening.

This starts by looking good with a nice amber color and thin white head. Aroma light on the spice which is better than too much. Flavor has a hint of alcohol, spicing is mild and body is full. Decent for a seasonal brew.

I’m not quite getting this. As a beer it’s not bad but as a Pumpkin beer it’s a little lacking. The nose holds promise with some of the usual spices and a good amount of booze. It looks good with a reddish amber and small head. The flavor is a touch of spice but not much. The booze comes through pretty strong. If anything, it has more of a strong Belgian ale taste to it. Strange brew.

Bottle. Pours red/orange, with an off white head. Aroma is spices and pumpkin, with some sugar. Flavor is more subdued than the aroma, with pumpkin and spices. Rather dry.

From a bottle poured a dark amber color with a small amount of head. Spicy malty flavor with a quick finish.

Pours a rocky creamy tan head, lasting and a nice amount of lace. Hazy orange color, copper hued. Nice pumpkinny nose, nutmeg, caramel and some bread. Medium bodied, nicely creamy with a soft carbonation. Light sweet malts, faint caramel, squashyness and all those good pumpkin pie spicey flavors along with some citrusy notes. Clean finish, almost dry and juicey. Nice pumpkin brew! Bottle procured @statelineliquors.
