3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of pumpkin, spice and faint soap. Nice lookin solid walnut with lasting tan head. I taste pumpkin in equal parts with spices (nutmeg and cinnamon) and malt. Brown sugar flavor is in there but this is not as sweet as I thought it would be. I just barely notice alcohol in the aftertaste. Slightly thin feel for an imperial. Good stuff

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an orange-brown with slight haziness and a minimal off-white head. Smells of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, bread, nuts. Taste is malt heavy, mildly sweet, a bit more bitter. Slight hint of pumpkin pie but more beer-y than most imperial pumpkins. Small presence of alcohol taste and burn, odd for its 8.1%.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle with PAt, pours a brown amber color with medium sized tan head, not a whole lot of lacing. Aromas of pumpkin puree, cinnamon, vanilla, and brown sugar.Taste is a creamy vanilla pumpkin pie, lots of nice spicing as well. I would put this in my top 10 of pumpkin brews.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle courtesy of beerbill, pours a murky orage/brown with a small khaki head. Aroma of spices, caramel, toffee, malt, and nuts. Taste of caramel, toffee, spices present but not overwhelming and actually add a nice overall bitterness, slight roastiness with pumpkin and alcohol on the finish. Not bad for a style Iím usually not fond of.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This bottle is listed as 8.1% abv. Pours a dark brown color, somewhat murky, with a thin frothy off-white head. The aroma is full of cinnamon spice, nutmeg, ginger, and pumpkin pie filling. As far as pumpkin beers go, this is pretty solid. Thereís not really any of that pie crust flavor sometimes found in these pumpkin beers but rather this leans heavily on the spices. A sweet brown sugar note mixes in with the aforementioned spices, a stale cardboard flavor, and of course, pumpkin filling. Thereís a lot of spice to this but also quite a bit of sweet flavors that end up offsetting each other. Good thing. Bottom line is I enjoyed this more than I thought I would so kudos for that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a very cloudy, almost flat brown. Palate was not flat, however. The nose was full of spices. The flavor was solid and certainly not too sweet. This was a medium bodied ale that did not disappoint. Definitely one of the better pumpkin ales Iíve had this season.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to watson1977. Very hazy brown/orange. Very nice aroma of mild pumpkin, allspice, and bready notes - not overpowering, not underwhelming. Good flavor with initial light pumpkin followed by allspice, pepper, toast, and a hint of roasted malt. Lingering pepper/pepperment/cinnamon, toasted malt, and a slightly odd plastic flavor. Nothing crazy, but solid and well put together.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
So Iím not into pumpkin flavored things all too much and to make a brew like this must have been a very difficult feat. Iíve tried the equivalents from the likes of Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, Weyerbacher etc. and this beer not only takes the cake but trumps all opponents(Dogfish clearly second place). Amazing amber color with the smell of nutmeg, toffee, caramel, and a touch of pumpkin. Tastes of gourmet pumpkin pie. Right on the money. Makes me happy to be from New Jersey.
