3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 lamas (1201) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 8, 2011Bottle. Different label than that in the picture. Mine says 8.1% ABV. Pours a hazy reddish amber color with a smallish beige head. Cinnamon, caramel, nutmeg, cloves, and pumpkin in the pleasant aroma. Medium-bodied and creamy here and there on the way down. Caramel, sweet pumpkin pie, and cinnamon dominate the flavor. Some vanilla creaminess in the middle. A little cereal wheatiness at the end. Plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves from start to finish. Hints of warming alcohol are present throughout and only add to the depth of this brew.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JStax (1671) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle thanks to Ramy4G. Thanks a ton! Pours a murky dark copper color with a beige head of thin foam. The aroma is spicy and doughy, like a pie crust. Pumpkin pie comes to mind, but more the crust than anything. I do pick up on a whipped cream aspect of the beer that really interests me. Taste is heavily spiced with lots of clove and cardamom with just a touch of vanilla bean and pie crust coming through in the finish. Alcohol warmth sneaks into the picture deep into the finish.

2nd January 2011 Cloudy dark red - amber beer. Small off white head. Light dry palate, smooth. Sweet pumpkin. Mild spice. Trace of vanilla oak and mild bourbon. Very dry finish. Nicely joined up. A cut above most pumpkin beers but too dry.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dbingham (68) - - NOV 4, 2012
Pours a cloudy dark orange with a two finger head. Pumpkin & pumpkin pie spice in the aroma, with a boozy sweetness. fairly dry with a good amount of hop bitterness on top of the pumpkin and alcohol flavor. Less sweet than other imperial pumpkin ales I have had. A bit of a watery finish - surprising for an 8% beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1920) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 16, 2012
Pours thick but clear amber in color with an orange hue and creamy sandy white head. The aroma and flavor bring sweetened pumpkin flavor and fall spices that are not powerful, but prevalent and present on the tongue. The flavors of cloves, cinnamon, and other spices are quite pleasant on a just full enough and excellently carbonated body. I thought it was really decent for the pumpkin beer style.

12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours brown with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin, some caramel and toffee from the malts, spices, and floral hops. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A pretty good pumpkin beer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 16/20 dimenhetfield (2354) - , Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2012
12oz bottle poured into glass. Dark murky brown with very little head. Good pumpkin spice aroma mixed with vanilla and cinnamon. Slightly boozy flavor but the pumpkin flavor definitely comes through the most. One of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had this year.
