3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance is copper with a minimal head. Flavor is slightly hoppy with a grapefruit and lemon flavor. This was somewhat sweet and thin. Not really the hop hazard it claims to be. But it was a pretty good beer anyway.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours medium amber, medium sized creamy tan head that leaves a decent bit of lacing. Aroma is mainly toasted grains, with a decent hop aroma in there to back it up. Flavor is the same toasted grains, middle is slightly sweet, end is quite bitter from the hops. Medium in body, quite enjoyable.

Amber with an off white head. Biscuit in the nose. Biscuit, and slight floral hops on the tongue. Eh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Large offwhite head , good hang time, good lacing. Clear copper color. Piney, hoppy nose with a good malt backing, bready. Medium body. Crystal malt up front, medium sweet , then the hops kick in. Kind of a raw hop flavor. Finish is dry with some fruityness.

2.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not much aroma for something that's supposedly juiced with hops. Same for the taste. Some hints of grapefruit and a decent malt balance. Overall, not bad but not what I expected compared to what their neighbors across the river offered (Victory and Weyerbacher).

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a mildly hazy light coppor color with a 2 cm fine bubbly white head with frothy lacing. Aroma is of barley and hops. Start is promising with moderate hoppiness and a roasted flavor. Finish is almost lacking any aftertaste and tastes a little watery. Mouthfeel is a little watery and cetainly not "full-bodied". This beer is a disappointment because I was expecting lots of hops, instead I got moderate hops and certainly not full bodied. All in all, it's a decent beer, but it doesnt match its description.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2011 Not bad, but not terribly exciting. A decent example of a pale ale, but it lacks any special character to differentiate it from the many other American pale ales that I have tried.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This hazy, deep amber-orange beer pours with a thin head with both fine and medium bubbles, but has great retention. It leaves a fair amount of lace on the sides, with a thin film of the head remaining over the entire surface, which is something I love to see. The aroma has a hint of malt and an oak character, very intriguing, but subtle. The taste reveals some nice citrus notes, along with some malty sweetness and and a touch of hazelnut. The mouthfeel is solid for an American Pale, with a nice bitterness on the finish. The nutty sweetness reappears in the aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden orange body, medium sized head. Nice floral hop aroma. Very hoppy, with subtle malt notes. Bitterness lingers. Good APA, that is worth trying.
